I have done Quill and Ironsworn on my blog.

Another suggestion is Sole

Sole is nice! I had not heard of it before, and glad I have now.

I love the graphics on this! :3

Was sort of hoping it was about an actual plant, but this is also cool ; )

One of my favorite freeform games is Jeff Dieterle’s Wigilia, and one of the characters in that game is a haunted houseplant!

I also backed Thousand Year Old Vampire. Did you see the update with early PDFs? It looks beautiful, and the gameplay seems really neat. It’s top of my to-play list right now

If you’re open to writing activities with an RPG component, I was recommended a category of prompts called “word crawls”: https://www.wikiwrimo.org/wiki/Word_crawl

There’s a D&D-flavored one that can be accessed while logged in to the NaNoWriMo forums: https://nanowrimo.org/forums/word-wars-prompts-sprints/threads/447705 You build your character, write your way through main and side quests, and can earn XP to compare your progress to your friends’.

Yeah, it’s really good fun. I did a playthrough with the initial version from the kickstarter here. Will give it another go soon I think!
