Side-Fiction; or: The stories the table doesn't tell

Don’t discount the fact that it’s easier to get motivated to write fanfiction, I think a diversity of writing projects is healthy and good!

As it’s still in draft, I don’t think any of us have read in total. We’ve all read bits and pieces that the author has shared. I’m sure there will be parts that individuals end up remembering differently, but for now it’s more like “Crap, who was it that we made that deal with? Hobbes, what’s the novel say? Okay, we’ll go with that.”

Also, there are some scenes that Hobbes wrote for the for the novel that were never played out in-game, that we all accept as canon.

There have definitely been times when I helped Hobbes flesh out or remember details based on my notes. Haven’t encountered anything yet that significantly clashed with my vision of events or prep; maybe a few spots where we changed timing around retroactively because the novelization showed that it worked better that way. But, again, we’ve mostly been referring back to the novel ad hoc.
