What are you working on right now?

decKarnage!
A game based on randomness, silliness and fluffy Violence!
Did you lave “I hate Fairyland” by Skottie Young?
Can you quote at least half of the Munchkin text cards?
ChaOSR is your middle now? (What? That’s impossible)
DecKarnage is your game.
Based on drawing a card from an innovative totally randomized deck, can you loot the treasure before the VIP will arrive to kill you?

It’s our (me and my wife) first kickstarter.
Also we worked so hard in the past year to study how to write a full accessible game.
… and, Fluffy Violence is our passionate love!
(But we despite violence, just to be clear)

The KS is founded, now we need to solidify the rules and make a lot of playtest. Also we hope to write something that people wants to play and are happy to play, something quick, funny in few pages. Looking at it now it seems really hard to do all of it but we are hard workers.

@RolistesPod_Kalum, FYI, over on RPGGEEK.COM there was a little poll and discussion of a list of games ranked as Must Try rpgs from a random podcast. Paris Gondo was on that list. No one else had heard of it , so I gave it a shout of support. I mentioned it in a forum thread regarding fun rpg “filler” games as well.

I’m working on streamlining Rev.Ivre, polishing “Here we used to fly” playbook & attraction and a space-opera adaptation of “microCore”. And still translating the travel guide to Alatria.
I’m thrilled with Rev.Ivre because it’s a drama workshop in disguise. I hope to learn workshop animation know how.
With Used to fly and Core, the feeling is more serious and open. These are about collaboration, wrapping my head around another person’s project and crafting high ludic potential material. A new territory for me, working on Setting, a bit daunting, the wind of adventure.

That’s so sweet. Thanks.

I’m currently working on the layout for Ron Edwards’ Circle of Hands.

Heya! First time poster after long time listener to Jason Cordova on various channels.

I’m working on a game called KNIGHT. People are Arthurian style knights, questing about the land for the High Queen of Avalon. The game involves collab style gaming, where players are creating a map filled with adventure points between them before going back to their knightly house and doing various things. It’s also got a generational aspect - knights only get about ten adventures before they retire, to which you play your heir.

It’s rules light, with a mix between procedures as in Blades in the Dark and a player facing version of Into the Odd. I was influenced strongly by Trophy’s consequences, but have yet to integrate anything with it. Had a few playtests and ran a full campaign of 30 sessions with my after-school kids.

The process has taught me the pain and joy of layout design and youtube tutorials for InDesign :D.

If people are interested I have a webpage and a discord .

Hope to chat, here or elsewhere!

I saw a meme and made it into a comedic one shot. This is not my first meme inspired material. Check it out: https://the-bearded-belgian.itch.io/haunting-dracula

An educational game about the concept of “value”. More notes (and an English translation) in my blogpost: https://thebeardedbelgiansplayground.blogspot.com/2023/04/making-gameadventure-de-waarde-van-de.html

Invision. It’s for prototyping.

The layout is made in Adobe Indesign.

Thanks. Indesign looks great, I just wish it was a subscription model.

It’s kinda buggy unfortunately. Random crashes and weird behavior. Wasn’t like that 10 years ago.

I can honestly recommend Affinity Publisher (and a good book about typography).

Thanks for the recommendation. I think I will switch to that when the time is right. Right now I’m using Photoline. A software nobody knows about… but works for me.

OK, things are on the move. I got back final art and layout for my Trophy hack - Vac Suits and Duct Tape. A quick editing pass and a finished starter incursion and it’ll be on DTRPG. Hopefully next week. Here’s the cover art to keep everyone thirsty…

I recently launched a game jam, and really hope that some of you take an interest. I also posted it on the Gauntle here: 2nd CoinSides Adventure Sparks Game Jam Cheers.

The jam is for 1500-word modules that should fit in just about any running campaign. A bit like a side quest or extra bit of lore, all centered around a coin. There are prizes and I’m working hard to make it fair and fun.

Yeah i have dreamed of creating something interesting. Esepecially i was interested in mobile apps, but frankly i don’t have enough skills for doing this, so i try to get from various sources, like Youtube. I even tried to enter some professionals courses and this was in vain. I always liked those apps where you can play casino games and even placing bets like melbet registration https://melbetonline.pk/registration/ and wanted to create something like this…always, maybe i need more time, who knows
