Eotenweard - The Mountain Queen (1/5)
The Kingdom of Elmet has been annexed by the Kingdom of Northumbria and its surviving royal family driven into the wilderness. Among them are Princess Manugia, sister to the new King in exile, and her husband, the Monster Hunter, Iamon Demonbane. Making their way to this mountain fastness is the Commoner Tuca, the former maid to Manugia and once described as ‘Iamon’s Lady’; Modthryth the Loon, scarred by the loss of all she knew; and Blacwyn the Hammer of the Gods, a friend to Iamon. Then there is a troll and some awkward re-introductions and family drama …

Eotenweard - The Mountian Queen (2/5)
Tuca the Commoner meets a Fae from her past, a past Iamon Demonbane, the Monster Hunter absented himself from, while Silver-Handed Blacwin, the Hammer of the Gods, displays his might and Modthryth the Loon capers to win advantage. Then there is a clue to their quest and the first news of a war in Heaven …

Eotenweard - The Mountain Queen (3/5)
When they enter the forest outside Riponum in search of the ‘treacherous Fae’ they seek … Silver-Handed Blacwin feels it is unnaturally dark and dangerous while Tuca the Commoner decides to follow Iamon Demonbane even if it means leaving her loyal but reluctant donkey behind. Iamon decides to follow the instincts of Modthryth the Loon even though she correctly identifies the absence of bird song as a very Grim Portent … of dangerous ravens and invulnerable Fae …

Eotenweard - The Mountain Queen (4/5)
After they agree to support Danum in its ambitions the characters gain the bronze they need to confront the Fae, and return to the forest near Riponum. It is suspiciously welcoming, but Modthryth the Loon’s instincts tell her to strike out away from the easy path; Tuca the Commoner finds the true way; Iamon the Monster Hunter announces his intent to negotiate; and Blacwyn the Hammer of the Gods makes an offer the Fae Queen cannot resist. Then there is Fae hospitality … Spring … and an unlikely bargain …

Eotenweard - The Mountain Queen (5/5)
Returning from the Fae Queen’s Court the characters find that ‘time has passed’, and that their failure to free Riponum of her curse makes them less than welcome there. Tuca the Commoner has, though, a common sense plan to ensure the curse goes away; something it would be best that Iamon Demonbane didn’t know about. Thankfully, he’s too busy keeping Modthryth the Loon out of trouble, but not before the villagers begin to whisper ‘Witch’. Silver-handed Blacwyn meanwhile broods on his lost daughter and the next steps in his search. Then there is a tinker, an old Fae friend, a royal death & a royal heir, and a bargain over the fate of Spring …
