Ahhh, I’m not usually logged on when browing the forum. Thanks for the help and thanks Jason for messaging me!
Freebooters on the Frontier 2e Discussion
Fell behind following this thread in the last couple months- Slack is a great idea but I seem to have missed the invite-link boat and I think my GRPG account may be too new to PM people. Let me know if there’s still a way to jump in and follow the conversation!

Sounds like the shorter version would be perfect for one-shots with pre-written adventures, and the full version for a campaign starter.
I love session 0 but even playing AW or other pbta games when it’s a one-shot you must cut many corners.
Also, I like the heritage shift to level 1.
But whenever possible I would always play a session 0 where I actually play forging the bonds. It’s a thing I’ve done for a long time from times session 0 wasn’t a thing, with Warhammer fantasy or D&D. Playing out episodes of PCs past life in flashbacks. It’s fun!
Accounts new so I can’t send a PM, but I’d love to join the Slack discussion.

I’m in the same position, Jason – I would love to be a part of this as well. I backed FotF originally, and would love to help out!
Since this thread has run its course and is now just popping to the top of the forum due to requests for Slack invites, we’re going to close it down.
