Gauntlet Comics: Masks - The Best Worst Things About Fall

The Best Worst Summer has come and gone, and now the students of the PRIME program are back home, back in school, and back to normal…? Well, normal might not be the best descriptor for the lives of teenagers with superheroic aspirations and the powers (sometimes?) and (maybe?) training to match. The heat of the summer is slowly ebbing, the leaves are turning, and Halloween is just around the corner. What troubles, tribulations, and maybe even triumphs does the season hold for our teenage heroes?

We’ll be playing Masks: A New Generation from Magpie Games, a game of teenage superheroes, angst, and identity. We’ll be discussing tone, content, and safety tools in session 1, as well as creating the characters, setting up their relationships, and how they all got together as a team. Attendance at all sessions is encouraged, but not required. Sessions will run for 2 ½ to 3 hours, beginning at 8:00 PM EST.

All standard Gauntlet Hangouts will be in effect, including the Open Table Policy and the X-Card. Lines and Veils will also be used to help us set up a fun and safe table for everyone. Our story will take place in the Gauntlet Comics shared universe, a creation of the Gauntlet Community’s own Rich Rogers, Lowell Francis, and Jim Crocker.

This event is scheduled to run for 3 hours. It will be recorded assuming all parties agree.

There will be 3 sessions in total. Being able to attend each session is ideal but not required. You must RSVP to each session you wish to attend.
