Rosenstrasse only has 4 days left!
" 1933 Berlin. As the Nazi party rises to power, lines are drawn in the sand to separate who is German and who is not. This line runs straight through marriages between Jewish and “Aryan” Germans. Over an in-game decade, players explore how the Reich’s racial policies, restrictions, and violence strip away liberty, security, and dignity for these families."

Sword Loser and Tool User are extremely charming.
" Sword Loser is a game about Tyngauld, who’s as lucky as a roomful of cats and marvelous with a sword. But he just can’t seem to stop losing them!
Tool User is a game about Clougil, an acerbic goblin and celebrated genius. In her long life she’s had many strange occupations. Let’s sort through her bizarre tools!"

Jay Iles Mythsea game looks both beautiful and the idea of re-building a war torn city feels like something I need in my life with everything going on in the real world.

I feel a bit embarrassed tooting my own horn, but I do have a Kickstarter out right now:

Bite Me! is a game of Werewolf pack dynamics. It is a PbtA game that leverages the design framework to make emotional moves a core part of the game. Gain power by confessing your fears, your anger and your guilty heart. Mess up, lose control and then angst about it all over again.

I shared this on G+ the other day, but I’ll share it here too. I follow Sean on Instagram and really like his art. Check out his Dungeons of Amara, a very cool art + poems project.

Dangerous Times seems like it might be cool. Play a crusading journalist in old time fantasy New York.

I’m going to chime in for @Frasersimons KS of the 3rd book in The Veil series, Inheritance. If you like cyberpunk, it’s easily the best game for telling these kinds of stories at the table.

I’m also very excited about the Fall of Magic expansion Songs from The Axe and Fiddle. It gives you four new “Songs” to replace the base game setup.

If you are unfamiliar with the base game, in it you play a group of travelers on a fantastic journey of magic and self-discovery. The mechanics are straightforward and minimal, focusing on telling a story together without the need for a GM/MC.

Love seeing a list of Kickstarters so I can watch my bank account scream, but can you tell me why you’re excited to see it? What about it draws you to bring it up here? Sell me on the game and why I should be knocking all the other books on the table off to start prepping for a game of it.

I’m super excited about Soth because not only have I played the original game and found it pretty damn fun, but because it really scratches that itch for me of small towns having dark dirty secrets, and also the downside of everyone knowing everyone and that making it hard to keep a secret. Having family out in East Texas, there’s tons of small little towns that I could pick as a setting, and hell, some of them I really try to make sure I don’t stop in just because they’re giving off that kind of vibe.

I came here to support Swordsfall, and someone else already snagged that one. Rosenstrasse and Comrades both look 1) amazing and 2) like something that I’d buy to support rather than buy out of any hopes of ever playing it.

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1917395140/leviathan-rising-an-enlightenment-punk-role-playin?ref=discovery_category is currently catching my eye because it’s so narrowly focused on a linchpin in history that I find fascinating.

Not a Kickstarter but a pre-order for Winter’s Daughter from Necrotic Gnome.

Oh hell yes, the premise for Dangerous Times sounds amazing, and I’d never heard of it. Thanks for posting it!

A friend is creating a FATE game set in a magical 17th century where you use your superpowers to punch rich jerks. (It’s more sophisticated than that, but I just like the idea of playing the Leveller Justice League.)

Just backed this one earlier today.

There are a few cool ones still running that I’m into:

Cut to the Chase: two player rpg where there’s a hunter and prey.

Hair Metal Horror: 80s glam metal forged in the dark.

Grey Cells: a streamlined mystery rpg.

Metal Gods of Ur-Hadad: Metal-fueled mayhem for DCC.

Manifest: Sci-fi western that looks interesting.

This looks interesting - a game where you play a journalist in 1920s New York, but magic is also real. The fact that you play journalists is a selling point for me already, the fact that the goal is to spread the truth and change the world (hopefully for the better) is what cemented my pledge…

…nice early 20th century graphic design also helped

I can see hacking it into a Cthulhu Mythos themed game, or, even better, into a modern dystopia.

This is actually my project, so let me know if you’ve got any questions. Glad people find it interesting!
