This is for six sessions of an urban fantasy hack of The Veil. We will reskin that PbtA cyberpunk game to explore the lives of characters in a high fantasy city. Attendance at all sessions is encouraged, but not required. Rules will be taught. In session one we will create characters, establish connections, and see how the city’s crushing your spirits.
We will begin with a blank slate for our city. Will it be more Sanctuary or Lanhkmar? More Ryoko Owari or Kaiin? In session one we will detail this city. Your playbooks will let you define certain features. For example, if you’re the Doppelganger you can tell us how monsters are viewed; if you’re the Guild Agent, how such institutions operate.
Sessions run November/December, with skips for holidays. Each will run 2 1/2 to 3 hours. We will record the session and use the X-Card for safety. If you sign up and your attendance or RSVP changes, please also send me a message at edige23 at gmail. I will send out a group email a week before the session with set up and invite details.
The Gauntlet Inclusivity Policy will be in play and the X-Card) safety tool will be in use.
