Fear of a Black Dragon: Give Us Suggestions!

In Dungeon #41, there is a fun module called, Old Man Katan and the Incredible Edible Dancing Mushroom Band. The companion adventures alone could make this episode!

I know that one, too!

Shel Kahn’s Corruption of Pellursk, and Keep on the Shining Isle. (It has been brought to my attention that Corruption of Pellursk was done and I somehow missed it(

Lazy_lich’s Woodfall.

I’m really hoping you finish the Enemy Within campaign for WFRP. I’d also love to see you revisit Ultraviolet Grasslands when the finished book comes out.

Just hopping in to second/third a few of these suggestions!

Would love to hear some Dolmenwood stuff.

I’m not very familiar with RuneQuest but I’d be interested to hear how this stuff stands up.

I know you’ve covered hex crawl stuff before but this is probably worth doing for historical purposes.

Also keen on some of those TSR UK modules.

I’d be curious to hear some more Call of Cthulhu/Cyberpunk/Shadowrun/Traveller/Star Frontiers or other non-fantasy stuff too.

I’ve just been looking through some PDFs of old scenarios from early issues of White Dwarf magazine and it seems like there could be a couple of hidden gems in there.

D1-2 Descent Into the Depths of the Earth and D3 Vault of the Drow.

Would be great to hear your take on how the Underdark plays as originally introduced, considering the behemoth it became!

Yeah! I came here to say Red Hand of Doom, but Kingmaker is a module I’ve always wanted to see tried in DW and would love to see it get the Black Dragon treatment one day. I know the originals are more what they’re looking for, but I look forward to the inevitable (hopefully) broadening to more recent D&D stuff. If for no other reason than to save me from reading it.

Fun fact: I think when I first joined the Patreon and got access to some of Jason’s GM notes (is that still a benefit? who knows?) for the early We Hunt the Keepers stuff, it inspired me to start writing up the Kingmaker stuff in that format. Not that I ever got around to using them. But one day …

An interesting module/series of adventures is
Sleeping Gods from Serpent King Games (see http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/94178/Sleeping-Gods).
I’ve never played it because it’s for Dragon Warriors but it’s eminently adaptable to something else (WoDu?) and it’s very flavorful. I’d definitely be interested in a FoaBD take on it.

‘Lost Abbey of Calthonwey’ has just jumped into my mind for no other reason than I remember really enjoying running it back in the day … outlined here http://www.waynesbooks.com/Gamelords.html, though lord knows where you’d find a copy …

How about the Classic AD&D module…

S3: Expedition to the Barrier Peaks

It’s got everything! Swords, Sorcery, Lasers, Robots.

It’s got the Froghemoth!

It’s got Vegepygmies!

What’s not to love?

Witchburner seems veryvery cool. I have the free edition

The Mothership adventure Dead Planet, is wonderfully evocative, with a D100 table of nightmares.

We have done an episode on that one.

I just started listening to this podcast, so I’m still catching up on things. I’d be interested to hear some talk about Hexmoon Sabbath (from the author of Krevborna, Cinderheim, etc.)

Black Sands is a DnD 2e Dark Sun Module that is really great. It has everything.

Silent Titans! Reading the adventure cover to cover like Patrick Stewart recommends helped me as the GM experience some of the twists and turns that my players are experiencing in play. I was so enraptured by Stewart’s ability to tell a story while still writing a setting/adventure book that I have found easy to use at the table in both physical and PDF format. I’d love to hear what you two have to say about it.

I’ve heard good things about Return to the Tomb of Horrors. I’d also be interested in your take on running an adventure based on the threat packs of beyond the wall: further afield (though it’s not explicitly an adventure, neither is the UVG and that was a great episode).
